The rugs pictured in this section are all brand new – never been walked on – original designs. They are one of a kind with my label attached.

I personally design and meticulously make every rug that I sell and I do it the old fashioned way…..completely by hand.

60” wide bolts of heavier wool material are cut into 4” wide strips, sewn end-to-end and braided into triple-strand braids. My unique methods result in braids that are wider and thicker and the rugs more luxurious than most of the “hand made” rugs that are actually machine made.

The resulting rugs are approximately ¾” to 1” thick and solid as a rock. They will never buckle or slide and slip around on the floor.

They are not sewn, but laced, and will never come apart. The lacing is all hidden! I have rugs out there that I made 60 years ago that are still lovely.

In addition, there are no visible seams or lacing thread and the last three to four rows are each spliced into a continuous necklace with no visible beginning or end. The actual end taper is buried three to four rows in.

Each of these originals has a description of the colors and materials that went into it as well as interesting construction statistics. Note that material colors in the pictures will display differently depending on individual computer monitors.
