Sarah Sugden’s (Katie Hill) been after a thrill in Emmerdale, but her next move for an even bigger thrill comes way out of left field.
Having turned herself into a rule breaking adrenaline junkie, which resulted in her getting arrested for thieving off Rodney, Sarah is now seeking the next thing to satisfy her need to live life to the full.
In recent weeks she’s shacked up with Kammy (Shebz Miah) who her gran and her ex believe is a bad influence, but in reality he is the one trying to tame her.
Jacob has been trying to sabotage her relationship now that he wants her back and she’s having none of it. But she can’t ignore the fact that him fighting for her affections has stirred something in her.
Sarah looks to the future…
It’s not what he thinks though, as Sarah makes a startling realisation about herself. It’s not either lad that her heart truly wants, it’s something else – a baby.
She tells Vanessa (Michelle Hardwick) about her life plan, who is taken aback by this sudden decision and probes the youngster on what she’s thinking.
Sarah lays out her plans for IVF and even books an appointment with Manpreet (Rebecca Sarker) to make her plan a reality.

But Sarah is not one to be stopped by the word ‘no’, something to which Charity (Emma Atkins) can attest – and she confesses to Vanessa that she’s started looking into clinics to see if she’s eligible for IVF.
When Charity approaches during their clandestine chat, the pair get flustered and it’s clear Sarah has no plans to let anyone else in on her life-changing secret.
